Music Journalism: I have ten years experience in this area, writing for both print and online publications, some of which specialised in music. Please get in touch if your looking for a writer to compose original event previews, music reviews, Q&A interviews, competition copy, news stories, and other features. I have been published in local and regional press, specialist websites, and lifestyle publications.

Original Content: All other journalism requirements will be considered on a project by project basis. The ethos which I work by is to provide original, interesting, and useful content, in a range of subject areas. My fresh outlook on fields I am not an insider/expert on can also provide you with something different for your magazine or website. I have a broad range of interests, which include mental health, animals, craft particularly cardmaking and cross stitch, the Olympics, and a variety of other topics. I am also happy to provide comment and opinion, wordsearch ideas, or research, so please get in touch if I can help with your projects. 2011 published articles include ‘Access To Art’ a feature in Hearing Times, and a piece on Mental Health in Open Mind Magazine.

My Blogs: In my spare time I run two quite different blogs. I set up ‘In The Basket’ in 2011 to enable me to gain some experience reviewing outside the music field. Since the blog was born, I have reviewed everything from cheese to skin cream. If you’re looking for some reviews, or have any other enquiries relating to the blog, then please get in touch or visit ‘In The Basket’ for more info. My other blog is called ‘Arts Blurb’, which I set up to indulge my passion for, and support of, the local arts/music scene in Chelmsford, Essex, where I am based.

Please see my portfolio pages for sample content and links.
